Marina De Lima

Marina stumbled into a yoga studio for the first time over 10 years ago whilst still working in her first career as a television producer in New York City.

Those first few months of getting on her mat gave Marina the sense of calm and peace she was desperately seeking from her faced paced life. What she didn’t imagine is that her new form of stress relief would unfold into a journey of self-discovery and possibilities. Through her yoga practice, Marina uncovered the hidden parts of herself, her true dharma, and dedicated her life to sharing her new found joy.

Marina completed her first yoga training in 2014 with Yoga in the World under the instruction of Anayra Calderon. Marina fell in love with the way yoga challenged her physically through asana practice as well as mentally and spiritually through meditation practice. In March of 2015 she traveled to India to further her yoga education and study Ashtanga Vinyasa with Jamie Clarke and Dulce Aguilar of The Yoga People. Marina has completed over 800 hours of course work with The Yoga People, with concentrations in philosophy, methodology, and theory of Rocket Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chakra Methodology, Mandala Vinyasa, Elemental Theory, and Shamanism. In 2018, Marina spent 2 months studying Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Ajay Kumar, of Sthalam 8 in Mysore, India. She is also certified as a Past Life Regression Therapist from B. Naga Kumar of Mysore, India.

Marina’s classes are rooted in intelligent sequencing and infused with her love for curating unique experiences that combine ancient practices like Shamanism, Tantric Philosophy, and Traditional Chinese and Doaist Philiosphy.

Fusing breath, movement, and uniquely crafted playlists, Marina’s classes will challenge and inspire as well as nurture and nourish your body, mind, and spirit.
