Yin Yoga is a slow, introspective, mostly floor-based practice where postures are
held in stillness for extended periods of time. By softening the muscles and
encouraging deep release, Yin allows us to access the body’s deeper connective
tissues and energetic pathways. But beyond the physical, Yin is an invitation to turn
inward. When combined with mindfulness, Yoga Nidra, and healing sound, it
becomes a deeply meditative and nourishing experience—a powerful tool for
emotional and energetic healing.
As Bernie Clark beautifully says, “Yin is the other half.” In a world that often values
doing over being, Yin offers a necessary balance—a soft, receptive, and intuitive
counterpoint to the fast-paced, effortful ‘yang’ nature of modern life and movement
practices.
Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep,” is an ancient meditation technique that guides
practitioners into a deeply restful state, where the body sleeps but awareness
remains gently awake. In this liminal space—beyond thought, time, and effort—the
nervous system rebalances, brainwave activity shifts, and profound healing can
occur. With regular practice, Nidra becomes a doorway into expanded
consciousness, deep rest, and inner clarity.
What you'll learn?
• The foundational principles and philosophy of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra
• The subtle anatomy of fascia, meridians, and energetic pathways
• Functional anatomy with a Yin-specific lens
• The art of mindful sequencing for Yin classes
• Detailed breakdown of the main Yin postures and how to modify them
• Adaptations for different bodies, injuries, and life stages (including pre-and post-natal)
• How to create inclusive, safe, and nurturing class environments
• Teaching methodology for both Yin and Nidra—covering voice, pacing, theming, space holding, lighting, music, and more
• Daily Yin Yoga and Nidra practice
• Daily teaching practice and feedback sessions
• How to guide others into deep rest and presence
Whether you teach or not, these skills will deepen your own capacity to listen, rest,

Meet the Teacher :
Beth

In 2011, I swapped luxury fashion for sweaty shorts and the 26/2 hot yoga room—and I never looked back. Over the years, my practice has expanded into many yoga traditions, including therapy, coaching and sound healing, and with every step, yoga has revealed itself to be not just a physical practice, but a spiritual, emotional, and ethical path of self-inquiry.
I’ve completed over 2,000 hours of training. My teaching is grounded in the
understanding that we all carry unique life stories in our bodies—shaped by our
experiences, structure, and journey. My aim is always to create spaces where
people feel safe to meet themselves with honesty, care, and compassion.
Yoga has healed and transformed me in ways I never imagined. It is a lifelong
practice of balance—between effort and ease, action and rest, doing and being.
Through practices like Yin and Nidra, we learn to listen more deeply, soften more
fully, and live more freely.
