Embark on a transformative journey into the profound practice of Yin Yoga. This
immersive training is designed to deepen your understanding of this meditative and
deepening style of yoga. Many people think Yin Yoga is just a slow, sleepy releasing practice. But in this training, we’ll explore how Yin is actually one of the most profound and challenging practices for both body and mind. Holding postures for several minutes requires deep focus and trust, and staying present in stillness can be as demanding as the most dynamic flows. You’ll discover how Yin Yoga invites you to cultivate strength, resilience, and surrender, unlocking its powerful potential far
beyond just “stretching.”
What to expect:
1. Daily Yoga Practice:
Each day begins and ends with a guided Yoga practice
In addition to physical practice, you also have meditation and pranayama complements
2. Yin Yoga Foundations & Philosophy:
History and philosophy of Yin Yoga: tracing its roots and its relationship to
Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Study of the Tao Te Ching: integrating ancient Taoist wisdom into your
teaching and practice.
3. Asana Practice & Teaching Methodology:
Deep dive into Yin Yoga asanas: modifications, variations, and use of props.
Teaching skills: how to create safe, supportive, and inclusive classes.
Sequencing: designing practices that honer the Yin approach, balance the energy body, and create harmony.
Adjustments and hands-on assists for Yin Yoga.
4. Anatomy & Physiology:
Functional anatomy: understanding the skeletal variation and how it influences individual expression in Yin poses.
The role of fascia and connective tissues in Yin Yoga.
Stress and compression theory: how to recognize and adapt postures based on unique body structures.
5. Meridian Theory & Energetics:
Introduction to the meridian system: mapping the energy channels of the body.
Exploring the relationship between meridians and Yin Yoga poses.
6. Meditation & Mindfulness:

Raj Bala

Teaching yoga since 2003, I am trained in Ashtanga, Hatha, Flow and Hot yoga. I am certified Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 Hours. I am passionate about teaching other aspects of yoga such as Philosophy, Pranayama and Meditation. Dedicated to the discipline, I challenge my students to reach their physical and mental potential. My hard working and motivated personality welcomes new opportunities to succeed and to share yoga with others. Having an appreciation for knowledge, tradition and culture, I have taught around India and China.
