50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Breathwork, Somatic Awareness and Self-Exploration

Most Yin Yoga trainings focuses on poses, sequencing, and theory.

Embodied Release is structured differently.

This 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training, offered across three weekends, is designed as a continuous, three-week immersion, where learning happens through practice, observation, and reflection between modules, not only during training hours.

The program is built around an experiential and somatic approach. Yin Yoga modules are combined with nervous system introduction, somatic exercises, breathwork and breath observation, journaling, and group reflection. These are not separate topics. They form the core of how the training is taught.

Between weekends, participants continue the process through home practices, including Yin sequences, self-observation, and written reflection. Each module brings lots of knowledge but with space for group sharing and discussion, allowing participants to learn from both their own experience and the experience of others.

What to expect ?

A central element of this training is experiential learning.

The program is structured so that participants understand Yin Yoga primarily through direct experience over time, not only through theoretical input. The combination of practice, reflection, and continuity between weekends is what shapes the learning process.

Each training day includes:

• Thematic modules

• Yin yoga practice + pose exploration

• Breathwork practices• guided somatic awareness exercises

• Group reflection and discussion+ journaling prompts

Between training weekends, participants engage in home practice assignments, which are an essential part of the training. These may include:

• Themed Yin Yoga sequences

• Journaling prompts

•Structured self-observation practices

Participants are encouraged to notice how their body, breath, and attention respond over time, and to reflect on these observations through journaling and group discussion.

Time is also dedicated to group sharing, supporting learning through exchange of experience as well as personal reflection.

This ongoing process makes the training function as a continuous three-week immersion, rather than a series of separate modules.

Meet the Teacher :

Marta

Marta is a certified yoga teacher, wellness & transformative coach and embodiment facilitator with over 1000h of teacher training in India, Bali and Europe, both in yoga and embodiment. She is currently studying to become a body psychotherapist and hypnotherapist to complement the methods she already uses as certified transformational coach. Her self development journey has started in 2008 and evolved from mindfulness meditation, a tool she used to battle severe depression after losing her mum to cancer and then in 2010 started practicing yoga as her healing journey continued. She completed her first teacher training in 2016 in Goa, India, and started teaching straight away. The following year she left her career at the European Institutions and traveled the world for one year, while teaching yoga in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Cambodia, Laos and Philippines. Since then she completed several trainings, including yoga therapy in India and embodiment training in Bali, and never stopped teaching, spending hundreds of hours every year with her students: guiding, observing, and learning power of human body-mind connection deeper and deeper. She is fascinated by the area of body psychotherapy, somatic approaches and how body awareness influences our lives. Marta’s classes combine a blend of traditional yoga and meditation without dogmatic approach, with modern knowledge around body awareness, somatics and trauma, so it can help her students to feel themselves in order to start the healing journey. She encourages her students to respect the needs of their own individual bodies. Marta truly believes that yoga can serve as a tool for healing and integrating body and mind, as every time we step on the mat, we have the opportunity to meet ourselves without all the programming and masks.
